To provide a slab erection machine moving method that contributes to shortening of a construction time.SOLUTION: A slab erection machine moving method according to the present invention includes the steps of: installing a lifting and lowering device in a position capable of supporting a slab erection machine; lifting the slab erection machine with the lifting and lowering device; installing rails in a position lower than the lifted slab erection machine; placing a load of the slab erection machine on the rails; moving the slab erection machine on the rails in a direction perpendicular to a bridge axis; installing the lifting and lowering device in a position capable of supporting the slab erection machine after the movement; lifting the slab erection machine by the lifting and lowering device; removing the rails; and lowering the lifted slab erection machine to a specified position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
