To provide a lock operation member whose locking/unlocking operation can be facilitated.SOLUTION: A lock operation member for switching between a locked state and an unlocked state of a lock member attached to a door includes a to-be-pressed member, a rotating body part, and a conversion mechanism having a lock engaging part which directly or indirectly engages with the lock member and converts a pressing force when the to-be-pressed member is pressed into a rotational force to rotate the rotating body part. The lock engaging part changes its posture between a first posture in the locked state and a second posture in the unlocked state, and it is configured such that the rotating body part rotates when the to-be-pressed member is pressed, the rotation changes the posture of the lock engaging part from one of the first posture and the second posture to the other, the rotating body part rotates in a different direction each time the to-be-pressed member is pressed, and the posture change from the first posture to the second posture and the posture change from the second posture to the first posture are alternately executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 30
