The obstacle detection device 100 includes a motor current value acquisition unit 44 for acquiring a motor current value of a current flowing in a motor 3 for operating the shutter 2, a difference calculation unit 44 for calculating a current difference which is a difference between a first current value indicating the motor current value and a second current value indicating the motor current value acquired before the motor current value based on the first current value, a ratio calculation unit 44 for calculating a current ratio which is a ratio of the first current value to the second current value, and a determination unit 44 for determining a presence or absence of the obstacle on the basis of the current difference and the current ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
