To provide a method for placing temporary supports which can be stably stacked.SOLUTION: First, a first step is performed in which a lower cylinder portion 11a of a first tier temporary support 10 is placed on a stand 20 having a second notch portion 21c. Next, a second step is performed in which a second tier temporary support is placed on the first tier temporary support 10 placed in the first step. Here, a first notch portion 11d corresponding to the outer diameter of the lower cylinder portion 11a is provided in a lower flange portion 11b of the temporary support 10, and in the first step, the first tier temporary support 10 is placed with the first notch portion 11d facing upward, and in the second step, the lower cylinder portion 11a of the second tier temporary support 10 is placed on the first notch portion 11d of the first tier temporary support 10, or in the second step, the second tier temporary support 10 is placed on the lower cylinder portion 11a of the first tier temporary support 10 with the first notch portion 11d of the second tier temporary support 10 facing downward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
