To provide a sintered body that meets the translucency and mechanical strength requirements for dental prosthetic materials, especially dentures for anterior teeth.SOLUTION: A sintered body according to the present invention contains stabilized zirconia containing stabilizing elements as a matrix, the content of stabilizing elements is more than 4.0 mol% and 5.8 mol% or less, the average crystal grain size is 2.5 μm or less, the grain size difference is 0.10 μm or less, the tetragonal prime phase ratio is 70% or more, the light transmittance is over 45%, and the biaxial bending strength is 650 MPa or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
