To provide a technology for improving waste discharge capacity when discharging waste using a water flow flowing into a water storage section from the rear.SOLUTION: A toilet bowl body includes a toilet bowl 18 having a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface 24 and a water pooling section 26 recessed downward from the lower edge of the waste receiving surface 24, and a first water discharge section that discharges flushing water from a first water discharge hole 30A toward one circumferential side within the toilet bowl 18 to form a water flow that flows along a rear area 60 of the waste receiving surface 24 located rearward of the water pooling section 26. The waste receiving surface 24 has a shelf surface 66 that guides flushing water discharged from a water discharge hole 30A to one circumferential side. The shelf surface 66 has a flat shape when cut along the radial direction of the toilet bowl 18, and the radial gradient of the shelf surface 66 in the rear area 60 is designed to be greater than the radial gradient of the shelf surface 66 in side areas 62A, 62B of the waste receiving surface 24 located to the left or right of the water pooling section 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
【課題】溜水部に後方から流入する水流を用いて汚物を排出するうえで、汚物排出能力の向上を図れる技術を提供する。【解決手段】鉢状の汚物受け面24、及び、汚物受け面24の下端縁から下方に窪む溜水部26を有する便鉢部18と、便鉢部18内に周方向の一方側に向けて第1吐水孔30Aから洗浄水を吐き出すことによって、溜水部26より後側に位置する汚物受け面24の後側領域60を伝う水流を形成する第1吐水部と、を備え、汚物受け面24は、吐水孔30Aから吐き出された洗浄水を周方向の一方側に導く棚面66を有し、棚面66は、便鉢部18の径方向に沿った切断面での形状が平坦面であり、後側領域60での棚面66の径方向での勾配は、溜水部26より左右いずれかに位置する汚物受け面24の横側領域62A、62Bでの棚面66の径方向での勾配より大きくなるように設定される。【選択図】図11
