The present invention relates to a trowel which can usefully be applied to plastering work where a height difference exists. The trowel comprises: a flat plate to contact a work surface; a handle mounted on an upper portion of the flat plate; a first auxiliary plate mounted on an upper portion of one surface of the flat plate provided with a bent surface bent at right angles; a second auxiliary plate surface-mounted on the first auxiliary plate provided with a bent surface bent at right angles; a first opening part (106c) and a vertical guide long hole (108b) formed on a side surface of the first auxiliary plate in a vertical direction; a rack gear (106a) installed in a rear portion of the first opening part (106c) of the first auxiliary plate; a second opening part (106d) formed on a side surface of the second auxiliary plate (104) in a horizontal direction along a longitudinal direction of the second auxiliary plate; a rack gear limit bracket (106b) installed in a rear portion of the second opening part (106d) of the second auxiliary plate mounted on the rack gear (106a) through the second opening part (106d) and the first opening part (106c); and a fastening screw (108a) to fixate the first auxiliary plate (102) and the second auxiliary plate (104) through the second opening part (106d) and the vertical guide long hole (108b).
