CONNECTION PARTS FOR COMPOSITE PILES
The present invention relates to a connecting unit of composite piles formed by integrally connecting a pre-tensioned spun high strength concrete pile (PHC) and a steel pipe pile and, more specifically, to a connecting unit of composite piles capable of accurately and easily arranging the center of the pile and the center of the steel pipe (so-called centering) to be coincided and firmly joining the PHC pile and steel pipe pile. The present invention relates to the connecting unit of the composite piles wherein the PHC pile and the steel pipe pile are joined. The present invention includes a first joining member formed on the upper part of the PHC pile and composed of a first fixing unit fixed to the top of the PHC pile, a slit unit formed on the first fixing unit and which is a groove with one open side, and supporting unit formed on the edge of the first fixing unit and including the open top formed on the open side of the slit unit to be extended upward; a second joining unit formed on the lower part of the steel pipe pile and composed of a second fixing unit fixed to the lower part of the steel pipe pile and a plate-shaped protruding unit formed on the second fixing unit and extended downward to be inserted into the slit unit; and a joining means for joining the first joining member and the steel pipe pile. The present invention provides the connecting unit for the composite piles characterized by joining and connecting the PHC pile and the steel pipe pile while the center of the PHC pile and the center of the steel pipe pile are coincided.
