SEAWATER INTAKE SYSTEM HAVING HOOD BURIED UNDER SEASHORE
The present invention is to protect equipment safe and supply high-quality clean seawater that foreign materials such as sand, seaweed, fish and shellfish and the like are filtered. The present invention provides a seawater collecting system with a hood buried into the seaside including a hood unit buried into the seaside, including multiple seawater intake holes on the outer circumference, and receiving seawater infiltrated to the seaside through the seawater intake holes; a transferring unit buried into the seaside, connected to the hood unit, collecting the seawater received inside the hood unit, and transferring to the collected seawater to a pump unit; the pump unit connected to the transferring unit and including a water-collecting pump collecting the seawater and pumping the seawater to the ground. The present invention is capable of providing high-quality clean seawater by primarily and naturally filtering the seawater infiltrated to the seaside through a sand layer, a bedrock layer, and a gravel layer and secondarily filtering sand, seaweed, fish and shellfish and the like from the seawater through a filtering member attached to the hood by burying the hood into a sand layer or a broken bedrock layer in the seaside filled with gravel and attaching and installing the filtering member to the hood and reducing expenses for maintenance by preventing malfunctions of equipment such as a decrease in the performance of the pump, a clogged pipe and the like.
