STEEL REINFORCEMENT COUPLER AND JOINT METHOD THEREOF
A coupler of the present invention comprises: a coupler body connecting ends of deformed bars with joints, and joining the deformed bars by inserting the deformed bars into both sides; a plurality of pressing bolts joined to the coupler body, coupling the deformed bars without the separation of the deformed bars from the coupler body by pressing the deformed bars; and a stopper inserted into a center of the coupler body to equally insert the deformed bars into both sides of the coupler body. The coupler body is formed into a cylindrical shape with an internal cavity. An uneven unit wherein a plurality of convex and concave portions are formed into a triangle shape to receive the joints of the rebar is formed on a half portion of an internal circumference of the cavity. The same number of tap holes, identical to the number of the pressing bolts, receiving the pressing bolts is formed on an upper part of the coupler body. Two stopper holes receiving the stopper to penetrate the stopper through the center of the coupler body are formed on the center of the coupler body. According to the rebar coupler and a rebar connecting method using the same of the present invention, the composition of the rebar coupler is very simple and is easily and conveniently assembled such that an efficiency of connecting the coupler to the rebar is excellent, and a coupling force is high by being locked by a plurality of pressing bolts and uneven unit by a plurality of steps. In addition, the present invention obtains an effect of connecting the rebar to the centers of the left rebar and right rear which are fixated.
