The present invention is a wave-making basin provided with an elevating plate (20) which is a vertical plate structure traversing between both side walls (11) of the basin and of which a bottom part is in contact with a top surface of the basin bottom (12) and both side ends are in contact with the side walls (11) wherein on the bottom part of the elevating plate (20), a guiding plate (30) having a curved surface (31) is attached thereon, such that when the elevating plate (20) elevates, the test water stored behind the elevating plate (20) discharges, generates, and delivers solitary wave. Through the invention, the invention is able to experimentally reproduce a solitary wave, and not only can it observe a movement of the solitary wave itself; but also enables to thoroughly observe and precisely inspect an effect of which a solitary wave is able to occur to a landward model (17).
본 발명은 수조의 양 측벽(11) 사이를 횡단하는 수직 판체로서 하단이 수조 저상부(12)에 밀착되고, 양 측단이 측벽(11)에 밀착되는 승강판(20)이 설치되고, 승강판(20)의 하단부에는 만곡면(31)이 형성된 유도판(30)이 부착되어, 승강판(20)이 상승하면 승강판(20) 배후부에 저류된 실험수가 배출되면서 고립파가 형성되어 전파되는 조파수조이다. 본 발명을 통하여, 고립파의 실험적 재현이 가능할 뿐 아니라, 순수 고립파 자체의 거동은 물론 고립파가 육역모형(17)에 미치는 영향에 대한 심도있는 관찰 및 정밀한 검측이 가능하다.
