The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing needle-shaped aragonite, which is precipitated calcium carbonate. The synthesis method can synthesize needle-shaped aragonite from dolomite, and can be simply carried out by controlling the condition of a carbonation process without any certain additional material to synthesize the needle-shaped aragonite.
