The present invention relates to a lock for a sliding door which is installed to access divided indoor and outdoor spaces or a compartmentalized indoor space. More specifically, the lock of the present invention has a lock main body installed and fixated on a door and a fixture installed and fixated at a position facing the lock main body; and is configured so that a locking piece can be mutually combined with or separated from the fixture by combining a rotatable opening/closing lever with the outer surface of the lock main body and combining the locking piece, which turns around according to the rotation of the opening/closing lever, in the lock main body. By the above configuration, the lock of the present invention has effects of: having excellent universality by being installed and used on any type of sliding doors; greatly improving productivity because of a simple structure; having excellent construction ability by being conveniently and quickly installed; providing excellent user convenience by stably maintaining an easy operation and a solid locked state; and having excellent security by preventing an arbitrary opening or the intrusion of an unauthorized person by the excellent and solid retention of the locked state.
본 발명은 구분된 실내,외 혹은 구획된 실내 공간을 출입하기 위해 설치되는 슬라이딩 도어의 잠금장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 도어에 고정 설치되는 잠금본체와 상기 잠금본체와 대향하는 위치에 고정 설치되는 고정체를 각기 구비하되, 상기 잠금본체의 외면에는 회전 가능한 개폐레버를 결합 형성하고 상기 잠금본체의 내부에는 상기 개폐레버의 회전에 따라 회전 출몰되게 한 잠금구를 결합 형성하여 상기 잠금구가 고정체와 상호 계지 결합되거나 분리 이탈될 수 있도록 구성함에 따라, 슬라이딩 도어의 종류와 관계없이 어떤 종류의 슬라이딩 도어에도 모두 장착 및 사용 가능하므로 범용성이 탁월한 것이고, 구조가 간단하여 생산성이 매우 향상되는 것이며, 설치가 간편하고 신속하게 이루어지므로 시공성이 매우 우수하고, 용이한 조작 및 견고한 잠금 상태를 안정적으로 유지할 수 있어 사용 편리성이 매우 뛰어난 것이며, 잠금 상태의 유지력이 우수하고 견고하여 임의 개방 또는 허가받지 않은 자가 침입하는 것을 방지할 수 있어 보안성이 탁월한 효과가 있는 것이다.
