The present invention relates to a device for automatically opening and closing a door, capable of automatically opening and closing an emergency door to automatically open and close a swing door or automatically opening and closing the swing door in a facility for a handicapped person. The device for automatically opening and closing a hinged door includes: a locking device unit locking the door by being formed in a door frame; a door lock insertion transfer bunch unit in which the locking device unit horizontally moves; and a latch blocking transfer bunch unit moving to an opposite side of the door lock insertion transfer bunch unit. A center gear unit is formed between the door lock insertion transfer bunch unit and the latch blocking transfer bunch unit moving to the opposite side of the door lock insertion transfer bunch unit. So, the center gear unit is formed by connection of a rack gear and a pinion gear. The device for automatically opening and closing a door also comprises: the pinion gear connected to the rack gear formed at a lower end of the latch blocking transfer bunch unit; and a pinion gear motor. As the pinion gear motor rotates, the door lock insertion transfer bunch unit and the latch blocking transfer bunch unit move to the opposite side of each other. So, the device for automatically opening and closing a door has a function of locking or unlocking a locking device to automatically open and close the swing door and, therefore, is very convenient for usage or maintenance.
