The light weight aggregate and the manufacturing method thereof using clay and waste lime
Provided are a lightweight aggregate using Bomyeong clay and byproduct lime, and a production method thereof. According to the present invention, the lightweight aggregate is made of Bomyeong clay mainly found in Hongseong in Chungcheongnam Province and Pyeongchang in Gangwon province and byproduct lime discarded after produced in a sodium carbonate production process. The lightweight aggregate prevents environmental destruction due to indiscriminate collection of natural aggregates. In particular, by recycling waste byproduct lime, it is possible to reduce costs for treatment and reduce issues on interlayer noise by maximizing soundproof and heat-insulating effects.
본 발명에 따른 경량골재는 충청남도 홍성지방과 강원도 평창 지방에서 주로 발견되는 보명토와, 탄산나트륨 제조공정에서 발생하여 폐기 처분되고 있는 부산석회를 이용한 것으로, 천연골재의 무분별한 채취에 따른 환경파괴를 방지하며, 특히 폐기물인 부산석회를 재활용함으로써 처리비용을 절감할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 방음 및 단열효과를 극대화하여 층간소음의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 보명토와 부산석회를 이용한 경량골재 및 이의 제조방법을 제공한다.
