The present invention relates to a light emitting type road sign using optical fiber, which prevents light from being blocked by an engraved reflective sheet without exposing optical fiber installed in a base plate of a road sign to the outside to correctly transfer information, and improves durability and corrosion resistance of the optical fiber not exposed to the outside to be used for a long time, and a manufacturing method. According to the present invention, a method to manufacture a light emitting road sign using optical fiber to indicate guidance comprises: a step (S10) of preparing a base plate (10) for forming a sign; a step (S20) of attaching a background sheet (11) formed with predetermined colors and patterns to the base plate (10); a step (S30) of installing optical fiber (20) on a guidance display part (13), which forms guidance content with letters, numbers, or figures, among the background sheet (11); and a step (S40) of attaching a reflection preventing sheet (12), which is appeared as a hole by cutting off a guidance display part (13) portion, to the background sheet (11) to form an engraved guidance display part (13) exposing the background sheet (11) of the guidance display part (13).
본 발명은 도로 표지판의 베이스 플레이트에 설치된 광섬유가 외부로 노출되지 않으면서도 음각 반사시트에 의해 빛이 차단되지 않도록 하여 정확한 정보를 전달할 수 있도록 함과 아울러 외부로 노출되지 않는 광섬유의 내구성과 내부식성이 향상되어 오랫동안 사용할 수 있는 발광형 도로 표지판 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 발광형 도로 표지판의 제조 방법은, 광섬유를 이용하여 안내표시를 하는 발광형 도로 표지판을 제조하는 방법으로서, 표지판을 형성하기 위한 베이스 플레이트(10)를 준비하는 단계(S10)와; 상기 베이스 플레이트(10)에 특정 색상과 문양으로 이루어진 바탕시트(11)를 부착하는 단계(S20)와; 상기 바탕시트(11) 중 안내하고자 하는 내용이 문자나 숫자 및 도형으로 이루어진 안내 표시부(13)에 광섬유(20)를 설치하는 단계(S30)와; 상기 안내 표시부(13) 부분이 절취되어 구멍으로 나타난 반사방지시트(12)를 바탕시트(11)에 부착하여 안내 표시부(13)의 바탕시트(11)가 외부로 노출된 음각의 안내 표시부(13)를 형성하는 단계(S40);를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
