본 발명은 개별 펌프를 제어하여 임의의 수의 펌프들을 자동적으로 서로 교대로 작동시키기 위한 방법으로서, 이 방법은 펌프의 비작동 상태에서 그 펌프의 작동 상태로의 상태 변경을 이루기 위해 시동 조건을 이용하고 또한 작동 상태에서 비작동 상태로의 상태 변경을 이루기 위해 정지 조건을 이용한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 본 방법은 하위 방법(시동 조건 찾기)을 포함하고, 이 하위 방법은, 미리 정해진 시기 후에 개별 펌프의 시동 조건을 미리 정해진 한계 내에서 임의적으로 변경하는 단계를 포함한다.
