The present invention relates to a damper for a sliding window and door, which uses a gear row and a rack to provide a damping action while a guide block moves a short distance in proportion to an opening/closing distance of a window or door panel to increase a damping effect while reducing the size of the damper. In particular, the guide block substantially performing the damping action moves about 1/3 of a moving distance of a moving rack moved when opening/closing a window or a door, and thus a damper suitable for the moving distance of the guide block is mounted to perform the damping action. Moreover, the damper for a sliding window and door, which performs such damping action, is mounted and used in an inner gate and thus a frequently opened/closed sliding type inner gate can be easily, conveniently, and safely used.
본 발명은 기어열과 랙을 이용하여 창호 짝을 여닫는 거리에 비례하여 가이드 블록이 짧은 거리만큼 움직이면서 완충 작용이 이루어질 수 있게 구성하므로, 슬라이딩 창호용 댐퍼 크기를 줄이면서도 완충 효과를 높일 수 있게 한다. 특히, 본 발명은 창호를 여닫을 때 움직이는 이동랙의 거리보다 실질적으로 완충 작용을 하는 가이드 블록이 이 이동랙의 거리의 약 1/3 정도 움직이도록 구성하므로, 가이드 블록이 움직인 거리에 알맞은 댐퍼를 장착하여 완충 작용을 할 수 있게 한다. 또한, 본 발명은 이러한 완충 작용을 하는 슬라이딩 창호용 댐퍼를 중문에 장착하여 사용하므로, 자주 여닫는 슬라이딩 타입의 중문을 쉽고 편리하면서도 안전하게 사용할 수 있게 한다.
