The present invention relates to an eco-friendly artificial turf filler using corncobs, which is safe and can reduce environmental pollution by replacing the conventional artificial turf filler mainly formed of chemicals with an eco-friendly material using corncobs, and a method for manufacturing the same. The method comprises the steps of: cutting and pulverizing corncobs to manufacture raw material chips; coating the raw material chips; drying and separating the coated raw material chips.
