Disclosed is a suspended planar road sign which increases the flatness of a front panel and a rear panel and has a waterway on which rainwater flows. The suspended planar road sign of the present invention for providing information required for driving through a display board. The display board includes: channels as basic frames; elastic members inserted between the channels; and the front panel and the rear panel coupled to the front and rear surfaces of the channels and the elastic members. The channels include: an upper channel coupled to a crossbar through a connection clip; a pair of side channels coupled to be extended vertically downward from both side cross-sections of the upper channel; and a lower channel coupled to lower ends of the pair of side channels to complete the edge thereof. The upper channel includes: an upper bottom part; a pair of upper side parts, respectively extending from the left and right ends of the upper bottom part and vertically bent in directions facing each other; an upper center part protruding upward from the upper bottom part and disposed between both the upper side parts; and a fitting protrusion part protruding downward from the upper bottom part. Two upper waterways are formed on both sides of the upper channel by the upper bottom part, the upper side parts, and the upper center part.
