Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for assisting disassembly of a scaffold. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for assisting disassembly of a scaffold includes: a body supported on a lower layer positioned directly below a target layer to be a target of the disassembly; an expanding member supported on the body and expanded in a vertical direction; an upper support part supported on the expanding member and supporting the target layer; and a lower support part supported on the body and supported on the lower layer, thereby simply disassembling the scaffold.
