The present invention relates to a screen door which can open or close a passage for entering a crosswalk depending on a change of a passing signal while being linked to a traffic light installed near the crosswalk to protect pedestrians from vehicles driving on a road and play a role of a traffic light of which the size is changed. According to the present invention, the screen door for pedestrian protection comprises: a pair of supports provided with lifting grooves vertically formed to simultaneously open one side of the upper and one surface thereof, and installed on a sidewalk adjacent to a crosswalk to be separated from each other by a prescribed distance while the lifting grooves face each other; a pair of ascending units provided with guide grooves vertically formed to open one surface thereof, and linked to a traffic light installed nearby to ascend while being inserted into the lifting grooves to allow the guide grooves to face each other; a plurality of blocking bars lifted while both ends thereof are fastened into the guide grooves; and a control unit linked to a traffic light installed nearby to lift the ascending units in accordance with a signal.
본 발명은 횡단보도의 인근에 설치되는 신호등과 연계된 상태로 통행 신호의 변화에 따라 횡단보도로 진입하는 통행로를 개방 또는 폐쇄할 수 있도록 구성되어 도로를 주행하는 차량으로부터 보행자를 보호함과 동시에 크기가 변화되는 신호등의 역할을 겸용할 수 있는 스크린 도어에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 보행자 보호용 스크린 도어는 일측면과 상단 일측을 동시에 개방하는 승강 홈이 수직 방향으로 형성되고, 그 승강 홈이 서로 마주보는 형태로 횡단보도와 인접한 인도에 서로 일정거리 이격되게 설치되는 한 쌍의 지지대, 일측면을 개방하는 가이드 홈이 수직 방향으로 형성되고, 그 가이드 홈이 서로 마주보도록 승강 홈 각각에 내입된 상태로 인근에 설치된 신호등과 연계되어 승강하는 한 쌍의 승강부, 양측 말단부가 각각 가이드 홈의 내부에 체결된 상태로 승강되는 복수 개의 차단바 및, 인근에 설치된 신호등과 연계되어 신호에 따라 승강부를 승강시키는 제어부를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
