The present invention relates to a shower head assembly having a filter embedded therein and including a filter replacement cycle notification means, wherein the filter replacement cycle notification means comprises: a flow sensor which is provided in a flow path to detect a real-time flow rate of water; a micro-controller which calculates a total usage amount of water on the basis of the flow rate detected by the flow sensor; and a display unit which is provided in the shower head assembly to display a usage amount calculated in the micro-controller. Accordingly, the shower head assembly allows a user to easily recognize the replacement cycle of a filter on the basis of the total usage amount of water, and thus permits the filter to be replaced at an appropriate time.
