The present invention provides a handle assembly for a sliding window which prevents disturbing results caused by unintentionally and automatically locking a door, and separates a window from a window frame when opening the window to easily and conveniently perform an opening operation. According to the present invention, the handle assembly has a semiautomatic locking means to limit an automatic locking function of an automatic locking device in a handle body. The semiautomatic locking means includes: a first rotating member to rotate between a locking position and an opening position with a handle; a second rotating member which is rotation-supported on the same axis of the first rotating member to rotate between a locking position and an opening position, and allows a rotary shaft to be coupled to a rotational center; a pressing part formed on the first rotating member and provided with a pressing protrusion formed on one side thereof; a protruding part formed on the second rotating member; a stopping protrusion formed on the protruding part to rotate the first rotating member and the second rotating member together to the opening position when the first rotating member rotates from the locking position to the opening position; and a button member having a stopper unit to move between a rotation blocking position for preventing the second rotating member from rotating to the locking position and an unblocking position for allowing the second rotating member to rotate.
본 발명은 의도하지 않게 문이 자동적으로 잠김으로써 발생할 수 있는 난처한 일을 예방할 수 있고, 창문을 열때 창문을 창틀로부터 이격시켜 줌으로써 열림 동작이 더욱 쉽고 편리하게 이루어지는 미닫이 창호용 핸들조립체를 제공한다. 본 발명의 핸들조립체는, 손잡이몸체 내에 자동록킹장치의 자동 잠금기능을 제한하는 반자동 잠금수단이 구비되고, 상기 반자동 잠금수단은, 손잡이와 함께 잠금위치와 열림위치 사이에서 회전하는 제1 회전부재와, 제1 회전부재의 동축상에 회전지지되어 잠금위치와 열림위치 사이에서 회전하고, 회전축이 회전중심에 결합된 제2 회전부재와, 제1 회전부재에 형성되고 일측에 가압단턱을 형성한 가압편과, 제2 회전부재에 형성한 돌출편과, 돌출편에 형성되어 제1 회전부재가 잠금위치에서 열림위치로 회전할 때 제2 회전부재가 함께 열림위치로 회전할 수 있도록 하는 걸림돌기와, 제2 회전부재가 잠금위치로 회전하지 못하게 하는 회전차단위치와 회전하도록 하는 차단해제위치 사이에서 이동하는 스토퍼부를 구비한 버튼부재를 포함하여 이루어진 것이다.
