The present invention relates to a hinge assembly of a folding door designed to increase the durability of gear parts while making the operation of a hinge more stable since a double gear forming a hinge of a folding door is configured. The hinge assembly of a folding door comprises: folding connection bars connected between unit doors and having connecting grooves respectively formed along a longitudinal direction on both sides so that each unit door rotates; one pair of hinge gear units respectively inserted into the connection grooves of the folding connection bars and connected to the unit doors and transmitting rotational force of the unit doors since the first gear and the second gear are provided at one end of the cylindrical body; a gear housing having one pair of accommodating holes formed therein to accommodate the second gear together; and a hinge cover coupled to the upper and lower ends of the folding connection bars, respectively, and having a seating unit formed therein for seating the first gear.
본 발명은 폴딩도어의 힌지를 이루는 기어를 이중으로 구성하여 힌지의 동작을 보다 안정되게 하면서도 기어 부품의 내구성을 증대시킬 수 있도록 된 폴딩도어의 힌지 조립체에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 폴딩도어의 힌지 조립체는 단위도어와 단위도어 사이에 연결되어 각 단위도어가 회전하도록 양 측에 길이방향을 따라 연결 홈이 각각 형성된 폴딩연결바, 상기 폴딩연결바의 상기 연결 홈에 각각 삽입되어 상기 단위도어에 연결되고, 원통형 몸체의 일측 단부에 제1 기어 및 제2 기어가 구비되어 상기 단위도어의 회전력을 전달하는 한 쌍의 힌지 기어부, 상기 제2 기어를 함께 수용할 수 있도록 내측에 한 쌍의 수용홀이 형성된 기어 하우징, 및 상기 폴딩연결바의 상단 및 하단부에 각각 결합됨과 아울러 내부에 상기 제1 기어를 안착시키는 안착부가 형성된 힌지 커버를 포함한다.
