The present invention relates to a reverse running accident prevention device. 본 발명은 역주행 사고방지장치에 관한 것으로서, 역주행 진입차량을 용이하게 검출할 수 있어 역주행에 따른 사고를 용이하게 방지할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 일방통행도로구간의 손상없이 간편하게 시공할 수 있어 시공성이 매우 우수함은 물론 2차선으로 이루어지는 일방통행도로에서도 역주행 진입차량을 용이하게 검출할 수 있고, 나아가, 역주행 진입차량의 검출효율이 이물질로 인해 저하될 우려가 없는 효과가 있다.
