An inlay method of stone using copper disclosed in the present invention, comprises: a first step of processing the outer shape of a stone base material; a second step of forming an engraved pattern to be expressed on the stone base material so that an entrance is narrow compared to an internal space; and a third step of melting a copper rod inside the engraved pattern to fill an engraved portion with copper. According to the present invention, by melting the copper rod in the engraved pattern formed on the stone base material processed into a specific shape to fill the engraved portion with copper, and then oxidizing the copper, various colors appear during the copper melting process depending on the degree of penetration of atoms such as oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon into the copper, and the effect of processing beautiful stone ornaments can be provided.
개시된 본 발명에 따른 동을 이용한 석재의 상감 방법은, 석재 모재의 외형을 가공하는 제1 단계; 상기 석재 모재에 표현하고자 하는 음각 패턴을 입구가 내부 공간 대비 공간이 좁도록 형성하는 제2 단계; 및 상기 음각 패턴 내부에 구리봉을 용융시켜 상기 음각된 부분을 동으로 채우는 제3 단계;를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 특정 형상으로 가공한 석재 모재에 형성되는 음각 패턴 내에 구리봉을 용융시켜 음각된 부분을 구리로 채우게 된 다음 구리를 산화시킴으로써 구리 용융 과정에서 구리 내부에 산소, 질소, 탄소 등의 원자들이 침투되는 정도에 따라 다양한 색감이 나타나도록 하여 미관이 미려한 석재 장식품을 가공 가능한 효과가 있다.
