According to the present invention, a double-layered mat for protecting grass comprises: a plurality of lower mats each having grass holes, corner guiders protruding upward, and insertion holes adjacent to the corner guiders, provided to cover the ground without being distanced from the ground, and installed on the ground to be adjacent to each other before a turf is placed; and a plurality of upper mats placed on the upper surfaces of the lower mats while forming, on the lower mats, a space in which the turf is to be located after the lower mats are installed on the ground, and are arranged to be adjacent to each other while being individually located to be hung on a part of each of the lower mats adjacent to each other. Each of the upper mats includes: a frame including a plurality of corners and the grass holes, and located on the lower mats adjacent to each other so that a plurality of corners contact the corner guiders of the lower mats adjacent to each other; support posts extending downward from the frame, and each having a lower end placed on the upper surfaces of the lower mats adjacent to each other; and insertion posts extending downward from the plurality of corners to be longer than the support posts, and inserted into the insertion holes adjacent to the corner guiders contacting the plurality of corners.
