본 발명은 모델 하우스 건설 시에 관람객이 있는 경우에만 모델 하우스에 필요한 전력을 공급할 수 있도록 구현한 저전력형 모델 하우스 시스템 및 그 운용방법에 관한 것으로, 모델 하우스의 출입구에 설치되어 있는 감지기가 관람객의 출입을 감지하며; 제어기가 감지기의 감지 결과에 따라 이에 대응하는 제어명령을 생성시켜 주며; 전원공급기가 제어기에서 생성시킨 제어명령에 따라 모델 하우스에 필요한 전력을 공급하거나 차단한다.
