A stone mattress installation method comprises the steps of: installing a lower wire net and an upper wire net, wherein the lower wire net is installed on the ground and has a construction stone placed thereon and the upper wire net is installed to cover the construction stone, and is provided at a wire intersection of the wire net to provide a coupling piece having a through hole through which a wire is double penetrated; and installing a stone mattress fixing unit which fixes the lower wire net and the upper wire net and is fixed to a coupling piece located in the space between the construction stones among the coupling pieces provided on the upper wire net. The step of installing the stone mattress fixing unit is to install the stone mattress fixing unit so that a certain tightening force acts by automatically adjusting the tightening degree of the stone mattress fixing unit between the lower and upper wire nets using an automatic installation tool. According to the present invention, a worker can easily install a stone mattress while stably fixing the stone mattress.
