정수 장치용 필터 하우징(housing) 장치는, 정수 장치용 필터가 수용되기 위한 공간, 상기 공간을 둘러싸는 진공층 및 상기 공간 내로 원수가 입수되기 위한 입수구를 포함하는 몸체부; 및 상기 공간의 상부를 덮기 위해 상기 몸체부에 결합되도록 구성되며, 상기 필터를 통과한 정수가 출수되기 위한 출수구 및 상기 공간으로부터 상기 출수구까지의 수로를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 정수 장치는 상기와 같이 구성된 하나 이상의 필터 하우징 장치; 상기 하나 이상의 필터 하우징 장치 내에 각각 수용되며 원수로부터 이물질을 제거하도록 구성된 하나 이상의 필터; 및 상기 하나 이상의 필터 하우징 장치를 수용하도록 구성된 케이스부를 포함할 수 있다. 이상과 같은 정수 장치는, 정수 장치 내부의 필터를 수용하기 위한 하우징 장치를 텀블러(tumbler) 형태의 몸체부와 이를 덮는 뚜껑부로 구성하여, 싱크대에 설치될 수 있으며 직접 수도꼭지를 통하여 냉수와 온수를 구별하지 않고 정수를 출수할 수 있으므로, 이를 이용하여 언제든지 손쉽고 안전하게 식생활수를 사용할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
A filter housing apparatus for a water purifying apparatus may comprise: a body unit including a space for accommodating a filter for the water purifying apparatus, a vacuum layer surrounding the space, and a water inlet for introducing raw water into the space; a water outlet which is configured to be coupled to the body unit for covering an upper portion of the space, and which outputs purified water that has passed through the filter; and a water channel from the space to the water outlet. Also, the water purifying apparatus may comprise: at least one filter housing apparatus configured as above; at least one filter accommodated respectively in the at least one filter housing apparatus and configured to remove foreign substances from the raw water; and a case unit for accommodating the at least one filter housing apparatus. As such, the housing apparatus for accommodating a filter in a water purifying apparatus is configured to have the body unit of a tumbler shape and a lid unit covering the body unit, and thus, the water purifying apparatus can be installed directly on a kitchen sink and can output purified water directly through a water faucet irrespective of whether the water is cold water or hot water. Thus, domestic water can be used easily and safely at any time.
