METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NON-COMBUSTIBLE BUILDING PANEL USING EXPANDED PERLITE
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a non-combustible building panel using expanded perlite. The method for manufacturing a building panel comprises the following steps: i) providing 100 parts by weight of expanded perlite, 12 to 20 parts by weight of an alkali activator, and 40 to 140 parts by weight of an inorganic binder; ii) converting a mixture of the expanded perlite, the alkali activator, and the inorganic binder into slurry; iii) molding the slurry to provide a molded body; iv) drying the molded body at 20 to 90 ℃; v) heating the dried molded body at 80 to 300 ℃; and vi) cutting the heated molded body. According to the present invention, expanded perlite, which is discarded after use in manufacturing building panels, can be used as a circulating resource to reduce environmental pollution caused by the disposal.
