The present invention provides an inside handle for a door of a vehicle, comprising: a housing including an accommodation space; an operation button disposed to be press-operable in the accommodation space; an operation switch connected to an electric actuator for releasing a door latch and operated as the operation button is pressed to a first depth to operate the electric actuator; a base disposed below the operation button to generate a descending stroke as the operation button is pressed to a second depth; and a traction member disposed to operate in conjunction with the descending stroke and pulling a latch cable for releasing the door latch depending on the descending stroke. Therefore, provided is an inside handle for a door of a vehicle, wherein a user is enabled to use a mechanical operating mechanism easily in emergency.
