Disclosed is a manhole monitoring apparatus, which comprises: an inner lid (100) which is arranged to cover the upper end of a manhole (2) at the lower side of an outer lid (10); a bracket (200) of which the upper end is coupled to the lower surface of the inner lid (100) while being vertically extended in a downward direction; a manhole monitoring module (300) which is coupled to the middle of the bracket (200), monitors the state of the manhole (2) by at least one sensor, and delivers the state information of the manhole (2) detected by the at least one sensor to a user platform (4) by means of an outer gateway (3); and a support plate (400) coupled to the lower end of the bracket (200) to protect the manhole monitoring module (300). The manhole monitoring module (300) comprises: a vertical coupling surface coupled to the front surface of the bracket (200), and coupled to the bracket (200); a horizontal floor which intersects with the coupling surface at right angles; a module enclosure (310) including an opening unit which faces upwards in an inclined manner towards the outer gateway (3); and a module cover (320) covering the inclined opening unit of the module enclosure (310) in an inclined state. Therefore, various kinds of manhole state information may be delivered to the outside.
