The present invention relates to a wireless charging system which charges an electric vehicle and the like by using a capacitive wireless power transmission method. One aspect of the present invention is a wireless charging transmitting unit which provides electric power wirelessly through capacitive coupling with a receiving unit including at least two receiving unit conductive plates, and comprises: a pad unit which is capacitively coupled with the receiving unit conductive plate and includes larger numbers of conductive plates compared to the number of the receiving unit conductive plates; and a switching circuit which selectively connects each of the conductive plates with a direct current power supply. The present invention aims to reduce misalignment between the conductive plates of the transmitting unit and the conductive plates of the receiving units.
