More specifically, provided are a cat litter manufacturing method and cat litter produced thereby, the method comprising: a step of preparing two types of bentonite, zeolite, activated carbon, and illite in a raw stone state, wherein two types of bentonite are prepared with bio, which directly affects the improvement of moisture absorption and coagulation, and eco, which directly affects the storage of tensile strength and odor molecules; and a step in which the illite is provided to change to the original illite after absorbing a certain amount of moisture. At this time, the illite is manufactured by taking the shape of a semi-ceramic ball before complete firing. The method also comprises the steps of: adjusting the moisture content of gemstone; crushing the gemstone; removing dust and fine particles and selecting a particle size; storing the same in a hopper; moving the same on a conveyor; performing UV sterilization; selecting and collecting the same; and mixing processed eco, processed bio, zeolite, activated carbon, and illite ceramic balls. Here, the mixing ratio may be composed of 39 wt% of eco, 58 wt% of bio, 2 wt% of zeolite, 0.1 wt% of activated carbon, and 1 wt% of illite.
