The present invention relates to an automatic recognition and collection system for atypical wastes that automatically recognizes information such as the type, weight, and volume of atypical wastes dumped on a road and allows the atypical wastes to be collected by a collection vehicle. According to the present invention, the automatic recognition and collection system for atypical wastes comprises: a learning unit which learns information about a normal article and builds the information into a database of normal articles; a recognition unit which acquires a waste image and recognizes a normal article matching the waste image based on artificial intelligence (AI)-based object inference technology to infer waste information; and a collection unit which establishes a collection plan for the wastes recognized by the recognition unit.
