The marking robot according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a storage unit (100) for storing drawing information for marking; a positioning unit (200) for scanning the surrounding area and generating scan information; a control unit (300) for performing coordinate assignment for surrounding objects and areas using the scan information, marking area setting, reinforcing bar recognition, reinforcing bar coating thickness calculation, and marking control using the calculated reinforcing bar recognition information and reinforcing bar coating thickness information; and a marking unit (400) for performing marking according to control commands of the control unit (300).
