The present invention relates to a device for preventing an animal from climbing an electric pole, which prevents an animal from coming into contact with power equipment, comprising: an induction coil unit which is wound along an outer circumference of an electric pole and generates an AC voltage according to electromagnetic induction of a power line; a power conversion unit which converts the AC voltage generated by the induction coil unit into a DC voltage; a charging unit which stores the DC voltage output from the power conversion unit; a converter unit which increases the DC voltage output from the charging unit to a predetermined DC output voltage; and a discharging unit which includes a first discharging coil and a second discharging coil connected to both ends of the converter unit, spaced apart from each other and wound along the outer circumference of the electric pole to apply the DC output voltage.
