METAL DOOR HAVING FINISHING CAP
Disclosed is a metal door having a finishing cap, capable of simply finishing the edge of a door formed of a metal material to enhance durability and lightweightness. To achieve this, the metal door comprises: a rectangular metal frame which provides the appearance of the door; and a U-shaped finishing cap which is provided on each of both side edges of the rectangular frame facing the door frame. The present invention has an effect of improving heat insulation when compared to a conventional metal door by blocking a space between the door and the door frame while reducing a contact area between an inner air layer and the door by blocking the door edge portion with the finishing cap.
내구성 및 경량성이 강화되도록 금속 소재로 형성된 도어의 테두리를 간편하게 마감할 수 있는 마감캡이 포함된 금속도어가 개시된다. 이를 위하여 도어의 외형을 제공하며 금속으로 형성된 사각 형틀, 및 문틀과 마주보는 상기 사각 형틀의 양측 테두리에 각각 구비되며 "ㄷ"자형으로 형성된 마감캡을 포함하는 금속도어를 제공한다. 본 발명은 마감캡을 통해 도어의 테두리 부분을 차단시켜 내부의 공기층과 도어의 접촉면적을 줄이는 한편 도어와 문틀 사이의 이격 공간을 차단시킴으로써, 기존 금속 도어에 비해 단열성이 개선된 효과를 갖는다.
