The present invention relates to a gripper for an excavator, more specifically, which can be operated with only a main hydraulic cylinder without an auxiliary hydraulic cylinder. Compared to a conventional gripper, a fixing connection unit to fixedly connect a second gripper piece to a boom is easily installed and separated, and further, damage to a surface or the like of the boom is prevented in a process of installing the fixing connection unit. Moreover, various sizes of grippers are easily replaced and mounted on the boom to improve working efficiency.
