A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The present invention discloses a rainwater cover for a sunscreen. The rainwater cover for a sunscreen comprises: a coupling plate which is attached to a wall airtight; a transition portion bent on the upper end of the coupling plate and extended forward towards the upper portion of the sunscreen; a rainwater reception groove which has a substantially U-shaped cross section, one end of which is connected to the upper face of the transition portion which extends in the vertically transverse direction with respect to forward direction; a protective plate formed by bending the U-shaped other end of the rainwater reception groove, and having the upper face extending in the forward direction; and side protective plates which are coupled to both sides of the lower face of the rainwater cover, thereby covering both sides of the rainwater cover and provided with an incision groove in correspondence to the lower face of the rainwater reception groove on the upper end to discharge rainwater flowing into the rainwater reception groove to both sides. According to the present invention, rainwater flowing into the upper portion of the rainwater cover is not directed to the upper portion of the sunscreen, but flows down in the transverse direction by the rainwater reception groove; thus minimizing pollution and staining of the sunscreen by rainwater.
