A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
An electric blind using photovoltaic power generation is disclosed. According to the present invention, the electric blind using photovoltaic power generation comprises: a screen formed to correspond to a window and ascended and descended to control a penetration amount of sunlight; and a housing installed in an upper end of a window frame and having a driving unit enabling the screen to be ascended and descended. A finishing member is coupled to be attached to and detached from the lower end of the screen, and a solar module is mounted on an outer surface of the finishing member. A first solar module converts the sunlight into electrical energy to be supplied as power of the driving unit. According to the present invention, the present invention is capable of supplying power of a motor due to generation using the sunlight in order to omit a complex power wiring work to significantly reduce construction costs. Moreover, a voltage and a current appropriate for a size of the blind and a driving force of the motor proportional to the size of the blind can be selectively controlled with the mounting number of solar cells to reduce weight and provide the proper voltage to improve performance.
