SLIDING WINDOWS WITH ENHANCED HERMETICITY
The present invention relates to a sliding window with improved airtightness. The window having a rail provided to a window frame and having a fixed window fixated to the window frame and having the sliding window moving along the rail while opening and closing an opened portion except the fixed window. A contact piece protrudes more along a circumference of an outdoor side of the opened portion, and the sliding window is inserted into the opened portion to enable the front circumference of the sliding window to be closely fixated to the contact piece while moving in a direction perpendicular to the rail when the opened portion is sealed. The present invention is not sealed by simply overlapping the sliding window with one front side of the fixed window but by providing a structure completely inserted into the window frame while the sliding window has the stepped portion with the fixed window so as to significantly improve airtightness, windproof performance, and water tightness.
