The present invention relates to a locking structure of a trunk lid wherein a trunk lid is fastened to a ring shaped striker installed in a vehicle body. The present invention comprises: the trunk lid having an access groove to enable the striker to access when the trunk lid is closed and where a first installation unit to be communicated with the access groove is formed on one horizontal side of the access groove; and a catch installed to be horizontally slid in the first installation unit and pressurized to enable one side end to be protruded toward the access groove by a catch spring and connected with a release cable to control sliding in accordance with pulling of the release cable. According to the configuration, the present invention reduces an installation space to relatively increase a space of a trunk room and reduces costs and a weight.
