A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The present invention relates to a mat to prevent noise between floors and, more specifically, relates to a mat to prevent noise between floors having an upper member and a lower member, inducing waves of a vertical vibration generated on the upper member to the waves of a vertical vibration on a lower member to effectively reduce vibration. In the mat to prevent noise between floors in accordance to an embodiment of the present invention, a mat body (100) with a predetermined shape comprises: an upper groove (11) formed on a top surface (10) of the mat body (100) at a predetermined length to disperse vibration occurred by impact, and a lower groove (21) formed on a bottom surface (20) at a predetermined length to damp the vibration moving along the upper groove (11). The vertical vibration applied from the upper part of the mat body is primarily dispersed and reduced while moving along the upper groove (11) of the top surface (10). The vibration passing the mat body is secondarily dispersed and reduced while being introduced to the bottom surface (20), and then moved along the lower groove (21). The vibration moving along the upper groove (11) of the top surface (10) is damped and reduced by the vibration moving along the lower groove (21) of the bottom surface (20).
