A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The present invention relates to an insulative wall frame wherein a first and a second insulation material opposing each other are mounted between an inner and an outer side frame facing each other, and a plurality of first and second connection walls formed on the first and the second insulation material abut each other to block a flow of heat or cold air in a gap between the inner and the outer side frame facing each other to block outdoor heat or cold air flowing indoors, or indoor heat or cold air emitting outside through the gap between the inner and the outer side frame. According to the present invention, heat or cold air transferred to the inner and the outer side frame is blocked from emitting to an outdoor space, or flowing into an indoor space by the first and the second connection walls of the insulation materials. Heat and cold air in spaces adjacent to each other from a gasket dividing the insulation materials and a window push each other in opposing directions to improve temperature maintenance. Accordingly, heat or cold air on a surface of the window is prevented from being transferred to the inner and the outer side frame to prevent the insulation materials from gathering moisture. Heat and cold air circulate in a space of the first and the second insulation materials formed by the first and the second connection walls of the first and the second insulation materials abutting each other, and pushes each other in the opposing directions to improve temperature maintenance.
