HOOD LATCH FOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to an automobile hood latch. More specifically, when opening a bonnet or hood which covers an engine room for reasons such as the repair of the automobile, a complete opening of the bonnet can be done with two times of the manipulation (pulling) of a release lever prepared on the driver′s seat. According to the present invention, the automobile hood latch comprises: a housing which is mounted on a front end of the automobile frame, and which is prepared with a space part on one of the central portions for linking and coupling each component together; a claw which is hinged to one side of the space part, and which rotates toward both sides in a predetermined range for locking/unlocking a striker assembled on the automobile hood; a main pawl hinged to the other side of the space part, and which orderly opens the pop-up and opening of the hood by intervening the rotation of the claw; and a second pawl which is consecutively hinged to the hinged portion of the main pawl, to rotate toward one side following the pulling of a wire during the manipulation of the release lever prepared inside the automobile to rotate along with the main pawl.
본 발명은 자동차용 후드 래치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 차량정비 등의 이유로 엔진룸을 덮고 있는 보닛(bonnet / 후드)을 개방함에 있어, 운전석 쪽에 구비된 릴리스레버의 이중(2회) 조작(당김)만으로도 상기 보닛의 완전 개방을 이룰 수 있도록 한 자동차용 후드 래치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 차체프레임의 프론트엔드에 장착되되, 각 구성품의 연계 조립 및 결합을 위한 공간부가 중앙 일측에 마련된 하우징; 상기 공간부 일측에 힌지결합된 상태로, 자동차 후드에 조립된 스트라이커의 로킹/언로킹을 위해 정해진 범위 내에서 양방향 회동하는 클로; 상기 공간부 타측에 힌지결합된 채로, 상기 클로의 회동을 간섭하여 상기 후드의 팝업과 완전 개방이 순차적으로 이루어지도록 한 메인폴; 및, 상기 메인폴의 힌지부에 연이어 힌지결합된 상태로, 자동차 실내에 구비된 릴리스레버 조작시의 와이어케이블 당김작용에 따라 일측으로 회전하여 상기 메인폴이 더불어 회전작동을 이룰 수 있도록 한 세컨드폴;을 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.

The present invention relates to an automobile hood latch. More specifically, when opening a bonnet or hood which covers an engine room for reasons such as the repair of the automobile, a complete opening of the bonnet can be done with two times of the manipulation (pulling) of a release lever prepared on the driver′s seat.
