The present invention relates to a foul odor prevention cover for a manhole which has an improved structure to perfectly block a backflow of a foul odor. According to the present invention, the foul odor prevention cover for a manhole is installed on a manhole to block a foul odor produced in the manhole, and comprises: an edge unit formed in a flat plate shape, installed on an upper end of the manhole, and provided with an inlet penetrating the same to allow water to flow into the manhole; a body unit mounted on a lower surface of the edge unit and provided with a space to accommodate the water flowing thereinto through the inlet of the edge unit, and an outlet penetrating a side thereof to discharge the water accommodated in the space downwards; and a cover rotatably mounted on the body unit, and rotated between a blocking position for blocking the outlet and an opening position for opening the outlet. While the water accommodated in the body unit is lower than or equal to a reference flow, the cover is arranged on the blocking position by the weight of the cover to block the outlet. When the water accommodated in the body unit is higher than or equal to the reference flow, the cover is rotated to the opening position by a pressure of the water to open the outlet.
본 발명은 악취가 역류하는 것을 완벽하게 차단할 수 있도록 구조가 개선된 맨홀악취방지덮개에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 맨홀악취방지덮개는 맨홀에 설치되어 상기 맨홀에서 발생하는 악취를 차단하는 맨홀악취방지덮개에 있어서, 평판 형상으로 형성되며 상기 맨홀의 상단부에 설치되며, 상기 맨홀의 내부로 물이 유동할 수 있도록 유입구가 관통 형성되어 있는 테두리부와, 상기 테두리부의 하면에 결합되며, 상기 테두리부의 유입구를 통해 유입된 물이 수용되는 공간부가 마련되어 있으며, 상기 공간부에 수용된 물이 하방으로 배출되는 배출구가 측면에 관통 형성되어 있는 몸체부와, 상기 몸체부에 회전 가능하게 결합되며, 상기 배출구를 차단하는 차단위치와, 상기 배출구를 개방하는 개방위치 사이에서 회전되는 덮개를 포함하되, 상기 몸체부에 물이 기준유량 이하로 수용된 상태에서는 상기 덮개의 자중에 의해 상기 덮개가 상기 차단위치에 배치되어 상기 배출구를 차단하며, 상기 몸체부에 물이 기준유량 이상으로 수용되면 상기 물의 압력의 의해 상기 덮개가 개방위치로 회전되어 상기 배출구가 개방되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
