SUCTION FOUNDATION WITH ENHANCED SELF WEIGHT PENETRATION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a suction foundation which provides a foundation support force by being embedded into a seabed ground by a vacuum pressure of a suction pump. The suction foundation includes: a hollow caisson formed in a housing shape having an opening at a lower end and mounted on the seabed ground by the weight thereof, wherein the hollow caisson accommodates a fluid on the ground in the hollow thereof through the opening and is embedded into the seabed ground while discharging the fluid in the hollow using the vacuum pressure of the suction pump by being connected to the suction pump; a lower skirt formed in a wave form in which concave and convex parts are repeated along the circumference of the opening of the hollow caisson and having a wedge-shaped cross section, wherein the lower skirt penetrates the seabed ground through the convex part at an initial mounting stage of the suction foundation due to the weight of the hollow caisson; and a stiffener reinforcing rigidity of the lower skirt and increasing the thickness of a part of the lower skirt.
본 발명은 석션펌프의 진공압에 의해 해저지반에 박히면서 기초지지력을 제공하는 석션기초에 관한 것으로, 하단에 개구부를 갖는 함체형으로 형성되어 자중에 의해 해저지반에 안착되면서 상기 개구부를 통해 지반의 유체를 내부 중공에 수용하고, 상기 석션펌프에 연결되어 상기 석션펌프의 진공압을 통해 내부 중공의 유체를 배출시키면서 해저지반에 박히는 중공케이슨; 상기 중공케이슨의 개구부 둘레를 따라 요철을 반복하는 파형형태로 형성되면서 쐐기형의 단면으로 형성되고, 상기 중공케이슨의 자중에 의한 초기안착시 철부를 통해 해저지반에 침투하는 하부스커트; 및 상기 하부스커트 일부분의 두께를 확장시키면서 상기 하부스커트의 강성을 보강하는 스티프너;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
